Project Completed! The Yumiko Shirt
I finished the Yumiko Shirt Saturday afternoon, but it was too big. I was about to tear my hair out because I figured I'd have to take it apart and recut all the pieces. I finally broke down and told Omniscient Sewing Mom about it when I went up to Leona Valley to see the poppies on Sunday. She said I should take the shirt in 0.75 inches at each seam and a tapered 0.5 inches at the shoulder if necessary. I took in the side seams last night, and it fits so much better! I wish I had a digital camera so I could show off my new shirt, but I don't so I've settled for wearing it to work today.
